Our Santa Anita Week event will be held for the 7th time from Monday, July 31st to Friday, August 4th, to celebrate our friendship exchange agreement with Santa Anita Park Racetrack in the U.S.

For the first time in four years, this year’s annual racetrack event will be held during the summer! In addition to the American Food Party, where you can enjoy hamburgers and authentic American gourmet BBQ food, and the well-known Mint Julep sales, the five-day event will be full of American atmosphere, with an American Market selling American horse racing goods and miscellaneous American products, an exhibition area about the exchange program, and special Santa Anita Week decorations.

In addition, on Wednesday, August 2nd, the day of the Santa Anita Trophy (SIII), there will be a very popular live talk show featuring two big-name JRA jockeys with a deep knowledge of American horse racing, along with many special events, such as the SANTA ANITA Grand Lottery, in which you can win Shikishi boards autographed by the performers and limited-edition Mandarin Hero goods.

[About our Friendship Exchange With the Santa Anita Park Racetrack]
Tokyo City Keiba (TCK) signed a Friendship Exchange Agreement in 1995 with the Santa Anita Park Racetrack on the West Coast of the United States. Since then, the Santa Anita Trophy (SIII) has been held annually at TCK, and the TOKYO CITY CUP (GIII) has been held at Santa Anita Park Racetrack as an exchange race, along with exchanges of jockeys and trainers.

TCK will continue to deepen its friendship with Santa Anita Park Racetrack and convey the appeal of TCK and horse racing to the people of Japan and the United States.
