What are Twinkle Races?
Twinkle Race is a nickname for nighttime horseraces held on weekdays at TCK (TOKYO CITY KEIBA) April through December.
What dates are the racetrack open on?
A. The track is typically open on weekdays. Please refer to the schedule for details on particular days.
When does the racetrack open and close?
From April through December, the track opens at 2:00pm and closes at 9:00pm.
January through March the track opens at 10:00am and closes at 5:00pm.
Hours vary by day, so please check the schedule for further details.
Does the racetrack close when it rains?
If it is just typical rainfall the track will remain open. However, if the weather is judged to be a serious threat to the safe horseracing environment, the track will be closed.
Is there an admission fee?
The admission fee is 100 yen.
Guests 15 years of age or younger can enter for free.
However, the race track does not allow entry to unaccompanied minors.
Can you bring in outside food or drink?
Outside food and drink cannot be brought in to the assigned seating area.
Please use the restaurants and facilities at the track for food and drink.
Additionally, no food or drink, including food or drink bought on-site, can be brought to the race-viewing restaurant “Diamond Turn.”
Can you take photos or film videos at the racetrack?
You may take photos and film video as long as you avoid the following:
- Photography or filming within prohibited areas
- Flashes at the paddock or during races
- Causing hindrance to other guests
- Utilizing a tripod, ladder, etc.
- Utilizing radio-controlled models
- Taking photos or video for commercial purposes or that infringe on the rights of third parties
Please follow staff instructions even if shooting or filming in a permitted area.
Is Wi-Fi available anywhere at the racetrack?
Each stand is equipped with public wireless LAN service. Select “TCKFreeWiFi” to connect.
The Free Wi-Fi's password is "5501".
What is the minimum age for purchasing a betting ticket?
Guests 20 and up can purchase betting tickets.
What is the starting price for betting tickets?
Betting tickets are available for 100 yen and up.
Are children allowed to come to the racetrack?
Yes, children are allowed.
