For over 10 years, Ohi Racecourse and Santa Anita Park have both enjoyed a very special friendship agreement. We have helped each other to promote and to ensure the success of our great sport in Japan and in the USA through every opportunity. Every year, Santa Anita Park management has been invited to attend “Santa Anita Week”, a great week of racing highlighted with the running of the “Santa Anita Trophy Gr.III” at Ohi. Similarly, Santa Anita Park hosts the “Tokyo City Handicap Gr.III” honoring a delegation from Ohi each year to attend the festivities surrounding the race. With this opportunity, I would like to send an invitation to all of the great racing fans in Japan to come see Santa Anita Park when you next visit Los Angeles and Southern California.
